Next Generation Sanitation For Your Safety

The Godfrey Hotel Boston has always been a leader in cleanliness. That is why we have received the coveted AAA Inspector’s Best of Housekeeping award every year since we opened our doors. But times have changed and immaculate is no longer good enough. That is why The Godfrey Hotel has introduced a new standard of cleaning, Beyond Immaculate: Next Generation Sanitation. 

As the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Centers for Disease Control update pandemic guidance, The Godfrey will continue to priortize the health and safety of our guests and staff. Please check this page regularly for updated practices being followed by The Godfrey team. Please note that effective May 29, 2021 all pandemic related restrictions have been lifted by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts except in high-density environments such as public transportation, hospitals and schools, however effective August 27, 2021 the City of Boston has reinstated an indoor mask mandate in all public places.

Frequent disinfecting of all public areas such as lobby, elevators, stairwells and front desk

Amenities

Effective May 29, 2021, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has lifted all pandemic related restrictions. George Howell Coffee, RUKA Restobar and The Godfrey Lobby Bar are all open. Please view the Food & Drink page or Amenities page of The Godfrey website for hours and contact information. The fitness center is open to guests of the hotel and our bicycle loan program has resumed. Effective August 27, 2021 the City of Boston has reinstated a mask mandate for all indoor public places.
